Barbara Spangle Freeman

Barbara Spangle Freeman, age 85 of Dandridge, TN, formerlay of Knoxville, TN passed away Thursday, January 16, 2003. She was born July 23, 1917 in Morristown, TN. Daughter of the late William Alonzo and Sallie Wine Spangle and widow of the late Roy Freeman. Preceded in death by brothers, Ernest and Henry Spangle and sisters, Gladys Beck, Naomi Williford and Ora Kistner. She was a member of the French Broad Church of the Brethern. She is survived by her sisters; Antionette McDaniel of Morristown,TN, Julia Moorefield of Kingsport, TN, Miriam Lange of Comstock, MI and Audrey Morrow of Springfield, IL; several nieces and nephews, cousins and special friends. The family wishes to express a special thank you to the staff of Jefferson County Nursing Home for their kind and compassionate care for Barbara. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday from the Farrar Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Ron Wine officiating. Interment will follow at French Broad Church of the Brethern Cemetery.
