Barbara Quarles Craig, age 92, of Hot Springs, AR, formerly of Jefferson City, TN, passed away December 18, 2020. She was of the Baptist faith. Barbara was a homemaker, expert seamstress, and baker of the best apple, cherry and chocolate pies known to man. Preceded in death by her husband of 64 years, William (Bill) Craig; parents, James (Doc) and Cora Quarles; sisters Frances Sydnor and Wilma (Jim) Frazier; brothers J.C. (Mary Margaret) Quarles, Harold Quarles, and Keith (Katherine) Quarles. She is survived by her daughters, Rachel Craig (Jim Hagerman) of Knoxville, Donna (Mike) Carroll of St Joe Beach, FL; Leslie (Kurt) Blumfelder of Hot Springs, AR; grandsons, Robert Carroll (deceased), Alex (Megan) Blumfelder; granddaughters, Haley Blumfelder and Cara (Jeff) High; great grandsons, Nolan, Holden, and Nash; brother Dwight (Sue) Quarles; sister-in-law, Dorothy Quarles; and numerous nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, October 9, 2022 at Farrar Funeral Home with Rev. Darrell Chambers officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorials in Barbara’s memory may be made to her favorite charity: CurePSP, 1216 Broadway, 2nd Floor, New York, NY 10001, or at donations@curepsp.org.
