Barbara Bruce

Barbara Bruce, age 66, of Talbott, TN went home to be with the Lord on Monday, January 17, 2011. Preceded in death by husband, Ray Bruce; parents, Rufus and Sally Brown; brothers, Harrison, Tyler, Wilbur (Jolly), Warren, Edward, Willard (Blackie) and Jake Brown. She is survived by sons, Bobby (Beth) Hughes and David (Shelly) Hughes; grandsons, BJ (Stevi) Hughes, David (Jessica) Hughes and Cory Hughes; sisters, Zelma Reed, Hettie Minter and Juanita Hodges; and brothers, Curtis, Doc and Joe Brown, and numerous nieces and nephews. The family wishes to express their sincerest gratitude to Barbara?s many, many friends for their prayers, love and expressions of kindness over the years. Funeral service will be 8:00 p.m. Thursday, January 20, 2011 at Farrar Funeral Home, Jefferson City with Pastor David Cross officiating. Graveside interment service will be 11:00 a.m. Friday, January 21, 2011 at Jefferson Memorial Gardens.
