Arvel Glenn Fain, age 91 of Dandridge, went to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Wednesday, July 15, 2020. He was a member of Wesley’s Chapel United Methodist Church and a former co-owner of Fain Brothers Construction.
Arvel was preceded in death by his parents, George Washington Fain and Cenia Owenby Fain, brothers, Oscar, Walter, Frank, Ray, John, and Charlie Fain, sisters, Daisy Fain, Ruth Byard, Mae Huskey and Hazel Jones.
He is survived by his wife, Betty Dean Fain; daughter, Beth (James) Bacon; son, Barry (Tamra) Fain; grandchildren, Torrie Fain, David Bacon, Erin Bacon, Tucker Fain; brothers, Fred (Meleta) and Clyde (Carolyn) Fain and an array of nieces, nephews, and other extended family.
Arvel will Lie in State on Saturday, July 18, 2020 from 1:00pm to 4:00pm at Farrar Funeral Home in Dandridge. A Graveside Funeral Service will be held on Sunday, July 19, 2020, at 11:00am at Hillcrest Cemetery in Dandridge with Brother Roy Miller officiating.
