Annie J. Rines

ANNIE J. RINES, age 92, of Talbott, TN passed away at 10 p.m. Friday, December 29, 2006 at Heritage Center Nursing Care in Morristown, TN following an extended illness. She was a member of Lebanon Baptist Church. She was a retired missionary with the Southern Baptist Association, having served in Africa for 12 years. Preceded in death by parents, John S. and Alice B. Rines; sister, Alice Charlotte Rogers; brothers, Marshall Tate Rines and Walter King Rines. She is survived by sisters, laura Gregory of Talbott and Ma;ry Shaver of Roanoke, VA; brothers and sisters-in-law, George and Esther Rines of Knoxville, TN, Robert and Missouria Rines of Talbott, Tn, Lester and Patricia Rines of Townsend, Tn; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 8 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 2, 2007 at Farrar Jefferson City Chapel with Rev. R. J. Seal officiating. The family will receive friends Tuesday evening from 6 until 8 p.m. prior to the funeral service. Family and friends will gather at 10:45 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 3, 2007 at Lebanon Baptist Church Cemetery for an 11 a.m. graveside interment service. The family requests that in lieu of flowers, memorial donations be made to Lebanon Baptist Church Missions, 7925 Greenbriar Road, Talbott, TN 37877.
