Annie Love Branner

ANNIE LOVE BRANNER, age 86, of Dandridge, TN went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, March 19, 2008. She was the daughter of the late Bernie and Edna Bragg. She accepted Christ and was saved, sanctified and filled with the Holy Ghost many years ago. She was under the leadership of Rev. Brazelton and others that followed at Christ Temple A.M.E. Zion Church. She loved the Lord and enjoyed praising, singing and serving him and enjoyed gospel music and was faithful to the Lord until her death. She leaves to rejoice her homegoing: daughters, Maxine Ruff of Knoxville, Debbie Branner of Dandridge; sons, Joe Bragg of Newport, Charles Branner of Dandridge, Larry Branner of Knoxville, Rev. Mike Branner of Knoxville; heartchild, Christine Stewart, who was like one of her children; nine grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren; brother, Chester (Mary) Bragg of Knoxville; sisters, Otis Deon Donaldson of Morristown and Stella Owensby of Newport; sisters-in-law, Edna G. Taylor and Cloretta Branner; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives and many friends. Funeral service will be held at 7:00 p.m. Friday, March 21, 2008 from the Farrar Dandridge Chapel. Interment graveside servcies will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday at Flatwoods Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 7:00 p.m. Friday evening prior to the service at the funeral home.
