She was of the Baptist faith and a retired employee of Magnavox. She is survived by her husband, Virgil Sharp of Talbott; daughter, Karen Nelson of Talbott; son, Dwayne Sharp of Knoxville; sister, Mary Ruth Smith; and brothers, Don Smith and Neil Smith. Funeral services will be held at 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, October 5, 2005 at the Farrar Jefferson City Chapel with Reverend George Miller officiating. Family and friends will gather at 10:45 a.m. Thursday, October 6, 2005 at Jefferson Memorial Gardens for an 11:00 a.m. graveside interment service. The family will receive friends Wednesday from 6 until 8 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home.
