Anne Manly Phillips

ANNE MANLY PHILLIPS, age 79, of Jefferson City, TN passed away suddenly on Sunday, June 4, 2023, and joined her Heavenly Father. She was preceded in death by her parents, Marvin Manly and Evelyn Manly Foster; brother, Ray Manley. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She was an active member of Buffalo Grove Baptist Church where she taught Sunday School for 50 years. She is survived by her loving husband of 61 years, Bobby Joe Phillips; daughter, Karen Lee (Stephen); son, Brad Phillips (Rhonda); grandchildren, Brittany Walker (Warren), Tyler Coffey (Allie) Chesney Rutherford (Austin), and Joe Phillips (Malai); great-grandchildren, Jacob, Sean and Beau Walker, Kellen and Creed Coffey; brother, Don Manly (Mary Beth); sister, Jean Garrett; sister-in-law, Charlotte Manley; and several nieces and nephews. Family will receive friends from 4:00 until 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, June 7, 2023 at Farrar Funeral Home. Family and friends will gather at 10:45 a.m. Thursday morning, June 8, 2023 at Buffalo Grove Baptist Church Cemetery for an 11:00 a.m. graveside interment service. Officiating will be Rev. Chad Chambers and Rev. John Pinkston. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Buffalo Grove Cemetery Fund.
