Anna Brooks

ANNA HAYNES BROOKS, of Jefferson City, TN was born April 20, 1917. She died of complications following a stroke on Tuesday, December 16, 2003 at the Life Care Center of Jefferson City. She was a member of Mansfield Gap Baptist Church and was preceded in death by her beloved parents, Clarence and Lona Jane Wilson Haynes. She is survived by her daughters, Gwen (Mrs. Gene) Renner of Morristown, TN and Gail Brooks Young and her husband, Dannie L. Young of Colonial Heights, VA; granddaughters, Gail Renner of Knoxville, TN and D. Dawn Wiscarver Harman and husband, Gary A. Harman of Chester, VA; great grandchildren, Arica Dawn and G. Alan Harman II of Chester, VA; and sister, Lelah Collier. Funeral services will be held at 8:00 p.m. Friday, December 19, 2003 at the Farrar Funeral Home Chapel in Jefferson City with Reverend Danny Matthews officiating. Family and friends will gather at Jarnigan Cemetery in Morristown at 1:45 p.m. on Saturday, December 20, 2003 for a 2:00 p.m. graveside interment service. The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. on Friday at the funeral home prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to Mansfield Gap Baptist Church or to Mt. Vale Church of God.
