Andrea K. Millard (Andee), age 65, of White Pine, TN passed away on September 24, 2012 at her home. She was born in Lenoir City on January 8, 1947. She is preceded in death by her parents, J. W. Jr. and Mary Lou Wilburn; also her sister, Jane. She is survived by her loving husband of 40 years, B. J. Millard; and two sons, Joe and Chelsea Millard, and granddaughter, Lucie, all of Kauai, Hawaii, Mike Millard and fiancée Toni Jarnigan of Morristown; brothers and sisters-in-law, Jim and Phyllis Wilburn of Lenoir City, Jeffery and April Wilburn of Loudon, brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Herman and Josephine West of Morristown; as well as many dear nieces, nephews and other family members. She also leaves so many dear and close friends. The family would like to express a special appreciation to her caregiver, Shelia Shirks, for her devotion and care, as well as Avalon Hospice and Dr. Doug Hembree. Andee was a registered nurse, graduating from the University of Tennessee School of Nursing, and never ceased giving care and comfort to anyone in need. She was a dedicated member of First United Methodist Church in White Pine. She was the personification of a Tennessee �Volunteer,� never refusing to turn down any task and never meeting a stranger. The family has requested that in lieu of flowers, memorials be made to the Tennessee Alzheimer�s Inc. or to the First United Methodist Church of White Pine. Visitation is planned for Monday, October 8, 2012 in the Fellowship Center of First United Methodist Church of White Pine from 4-6:00pm. The Celebration of Life Service will follow in the church sanctuary with the Dr. Rev. Cynthia Thompson officiating.
