Amy Faye Smelcer Finchum

AMY FAYE SMELCER FINCHUM, age 77, of Louisville, KY passed away Tuesday, February 17, 2004. She was born March 8, 1926 in Jefferson County, TN to Adam and Lola Strange Smelcer. She was a homemaker and very dedicated to her family. Preceded in death by her husband, Nash Finchum; sisters, Lettie Corbett, Grace Smelcer, Beulah Large, Mary Kate Smelcer, Joyce Mason, and Geraldine DeBree; brothers, Taylor, Lloyd, Charlie, Alfred and Hal Smelcer. Survived by children, Jeannie Wedic, Gary Finchum, Judy Gayoso, Hilda Finchum and Michael Finchum; grandchildren, Linda Gayoso, Amy Dunphy, Mat Wedic, John Wedic, Brittany Finchum and Jessica Finchum; great grandchildren, Forrester Finchum, Calla Finchum, Kristina Pardini, Amy Rose Dunphy and Brien Dunphy; rothers, George Smelcer, Ray Smelcer and Gene Smelcer. Funeral services 8 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 18 at Farrar Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. John Clark and Brother Frankie Edmonds officiating. Interment graveside services, Friday, Feb. 20 at 11 a.m. at Hills Union Cemetery. Family will receive friends Thursday from 6 until 8 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home.
