Allen Floyd Shaffer, 85 of White Pine, passed away peacefully Sunday, August 16, 2020 at home. He was retired from BASF and loved working on the farm. He was preceded in death by his parents, Ben and Mae Shaffer and sister, Betty Yates, brothers, Mack, Clint, George Shaffer. Floyd is survived by his wife of 62 years, Edna Shaffer; daughters, Teresa Arwood, Lisa (Bo) Arwood; son, Eric (Janet) Shaffer; grandchildren, Josh (Lisa) Arwood, Stacy Dotson, Amy Arwood, Elizabeth Arwood; great grandchildren, Chris Ellsmore, Bryce Thomas, Ashlyn Arwood, Draven Dotson, Nakesha Arwood, Brianna Barrios, Marcos Barrios, Kaylan Arwood, Lucas Arwood; several nieces and nephews, cousins, and other family members; special friends, Jerry Kirk, Gene Childress, Bob Hardy, Tim Rednour, Stan Coffey, Paris Bullington, all the city boys and host of friends.

Graveside Interment Service will be held on Thursday, August 20, 2020 at 11:00 am in Dandridge Memorial Gardens with Rev. Dennis Dougherty officiating. Friends may call on Wednesday, August 19, between the hours of 9:00 am-5:00 pm at Farrar Funeral Home in White Pine. Farrar Funeral Home respects and follows the CDC Guidelines for the Covid-19, including the use of facemasks.
