Alice Norwood

Alice Norwood, age 78, of Baneberry, TN passed away at her home on April 30, 2014 after an extended illness. She was a member of First United Methodist Church in White Pine. She is survived by her husband of 40 years, Jon Norwood; children, Debra Sue Walker, Billy D. Buffington, Allyson Norwood Bush and Elizabeth Ann Wininger; 9 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren; sister, Julia Walters; also several nieces, nephews and other family members. Family will receive friends from 6-7:00pm on Friday, May 9, 2014 prior to the memorial service at 7:00pm at First United Methodist Church in White Pine, with the Rev. Dr. Cynthia Thompson officiating. The family has requested that in lieu of flowers, memorial donations be made to First United Methodist Church in White Pine; P.O. Box 146, White Pine, TN 37890.
