Alice Mae Dugas Smith

ALICE MAE DUGAS SMITH, age 75, of Dandridge, TN and a native of New Orleans, LA, who was a devoted wife and mother of seven, passed away on December 24, 2008 at Jefferson County Nursing Home. She was born February 26, 1933. Preceded in death by her husband, Harold Edward Smith, Sr.; her sons, Phillip Ignacious Stevens, Emanuel Shane Smith and her daughter, Wanda Lynn Smith. She is survived by her children, Feta Rose Hallen and her husband, Leonard Hallen, Pauline Allie Gray and her husband, Larry Dale Gray, Harold Edward Smith, Jr., and Jerome Allan Smith; grandchildren, Frank and Wanda Culotta, Matthew Billik, Joshua and Jeremiah Culotta, Jennifer Lynn Johnson, Jimmy Lynn Caro, Angela Jane Perry, Jennifer Lynn Gray, Yalam Dale Gray, Jacob Smith, Samantha Smith, Heather Smith, Alisha Smith, Andrew Smith, Sarah Smith, Shallie Smith, Samuel Shane Smith; and fifteen great-grandchildren. Thanks to all the CAN?s, nurses and administration staff of Sevier County Health Care and the Jefferson County Nursing Home for the very excellent care given to her during her fight with Alzheimer?s in the past 7 years. Funeral services will be held at 8:00 p.m. Saturday, December 27, 2008 at the Farrar Dandridge Chapel with Dr. Frank Bell officiating. Interment graveside service will be 11:00 a.m.Tuesday, December 30, 2008 at Resthaven Park Cemetery in Avondale, LA.
