Alex “Big Al” D. Kibodeaux, age 73 of White Pine passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on March 4,2018, at his home following a brief illness. He was born on March 15,1944 to his late parents Alexander and Sophie Kibodeaux in Orange, TX. Alex was a retired truck driver with EPES where he logged over 2 million accident free miles. Preceded in death by sisters Gladys Jones and Mary Ann Raley. He is survived by his loving wife of 42 years Linda Kibodeaux. Also survived by sons Kris(Christy) Kibodeaux, Korey(Tina) Kibodeaux, daughter Alicia Carpenter; grandchildren Maelynn, Grant, Taylor and Karli Kibodeaux, Sara and Ryan Carpenter, sister Judy Williams of TX, several nephews, nieces and several other family members and great friends. The family will receive friends at First Baptist Church, White Pine from 5-7pm on March 7, 2018 with the funeral service immediately following at 7pm with the Reverends Brian Osborne and Roger Porter officiating. Graveside interment will be held at 11am Thursday March 8,2018 at White Pine Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to First Baptist Church of White Pine or White Pine Friends of the Library.
