AILEEN DAWSON, of the Kansas Community in Jefferson County, TN passed away on May 17, 2013 at Windwood Golden Living Center in Clinton, TN. Aileen was married to Leonard Dawson for 34 years, living most of those years in Oak Ridge, TN, where she was active in schools, church, Scouts, sports, and community affairs. She owned Dawson Florist and was of the Christian faith. Preceded in death by her parents, A. H. and Hannah Williford; sister, Maude Williford; and brothers, Perry and Clark Williford. She leaves her daughter, Janet Dawson of Knoxville, and her son, H. Richard Dawson and wife Jennifer of Clinton; grandchildren, Sydney McLean (Steve) of Maryville, TN, Richard R. Dawson of St. Paul, Minnesota, Taylor Dawson of Nashville, TN; great-grandchildren, Melissa Hogan and Franklin Dawson; beloved brother, Ray Williford of Talbott, TN; nieces, Vicki Raybeck (Jim) of Spring Hill, TN, Ramona Williford of Jefferson City, TN, Jill Williford (Bruce) of Oak Ridge; and nephews, Gary and Bill Williford of Jefferson City. The family will receive friends at Farrar Funeral Home in White Pine, TN from 2:00 until 3:00 p.m. Wednesday, May 22, 2013. At the request of Aileen, no services are planned except for a private family celebration of life and interment at Ebenezer Church and cemetery.
