Agnes Mae Thomas

AGNES MAE THOMAS,of White Pine, TN, born February 21, 1923,entered into a peaceful eternal sleep at her home on Friday, June 27, 2008. She was preceded in death by her parents, Ernest and Lilly McCoig; mother-in-law and father-in-law, Robert Murray "Doc" and Mabel Thomas; brothers, Herbert, Ernest "Bingo", and Claude "Cotton" McCoig; sister, Helen Brinkley. Agnes is survived by her loving and dedicated husband of 43 years, Charles Murray Thomas; brother, Doug McCoig; sister, Hazel Fowler; brother-in-law, Jerry and Martha Thomas; sister-in-law, Linda Kay and Allen Gregg; several nieces and nephews; as well as a host of wonderful friends and neighbors. Funeral services for Agnes will be on Sunday, June 29, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Farrar Funeral Home in White Pine with Reverend Mark McFadden officiating. Interment service will follow in Union Cemetery in Newport. The family will receive friends from 12:00 noon until 2:00 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home.
