Farrar Funeral Home- Jefferson City

Adrian Blanc, III, known as Buddy by his three younger sisters, Beth, Susie and Amy, was born October 13, 1955 to Sylvia and Adrian Blanc, Jr., in Jefferson City, Tennessee. They were thrilled. On Sunday, December 3, 2023, he joined his daddy in Heaven, along with Mamma Till and Daddy Bill, Memommie and many other loved ones. Adrian was a lifetime member of First Baptist Church in Jefferson City and attended Jefferson Elementary and Jefferson High School, Tennessee Military Institute, Carson-Newman and the University of Tennessee. He earned an associate degree in business science in accounting from Knoxville Business College. He was a member of the Boy Scouts of America. He was a gifted athlete in his youth, excelling in baseball, football, basketball, golf, tennis, swimming and ping pong and garnered numerous MVP and AllStar honors. Adrian loved watching the stock market, kitty cats, ZZ Top and Lynyrd Skynyrd. He loved Carson-Newman sporting events - all of them - but especially the girls’ teams. He loved Garfield, chocolate ripple ice cream, and his church. He loved chocolate milkshakes and still owes one to Jenny. He loved and appreciated Faye Johnson, and his family wants to express their gratitude for her patient and devoted service to him. Adrian loved his nieces and nephews, Erin, Rob, Tim and Bren Henry Haley, Jennifer and Weston Jarnagin, LuLu Victoria Lacy, Adrian and Oliver Lacy, and his greatnieces and nephews, Lana, Brede, Pepper and Teague Haley, and Kye and Lucca Maldonado Haley. He loved his nieces and nephew by marriage, Crystal Coats, Lindsey Haley, Nelly Maldonado Haley and Julian Victoria Lacy. He loved his brother-in-law, Bob Jarnagin and his many cousins and friends. His family would like to thank every single person who gave him a helping hand, a lift, a smile. We hope he brightened your day with his wit and humor, kindness and prayers. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to CARE: Compassion Animal Rescue and Education, 310 Landfill Rd., Jefferson City, (865) 471-5696. Please join his family in celebrating his extraordinary life on Saturday, December 9 at noon at Farrar Funeral Home in Jefferson City. Susie and Amy, did we say he liked pretty girls? We did now, Beth.
