Adele "Nana" McEvoy

ADELE "NANA" MCEVOY, age 93 of Baneberry, TN passed away at her home on Monday, October 1, 2007. She was born March 11, 1914 and raised in Fairview, NJ. Nana moved from Dayton, OH to East Tennessee to be close to her family and lived for a year at the Grand Court in Morristown. For the last five years she has resided with and was cared for by her granddaughter, Cindy and husband, Jay and her great-grandchildren, whom she adored. She was a member of the Holy Trinity Catholic Church and was the beloved "Nana" to all who knew her. She is survived by her daughter, Adele Nicholson and husband, Ken of White Pine; her son, John and wife, Mary Jo McEvoy of Palm Beach Gardens, FL; her grandchildren, Cindy Brombach, Samantha Machado, Matt McEvoy; by great-grandchildren, Brandon, Lauren, Garret, Paige and Jorge; her sister, Mildred Bolcik; and by her sisters-in-law, Mary Bolcik and Helen Bolcik. A Funeral Mass will be held at 8:00 p.m. Friday, October 5, 2007 with Father Dan Whitman officiating. Graveside interment services will be 2:00 p.m. Saturday at Dandridge Memorial Gardens.
