Wanda Lee Michael

WANDA LEE MICHAEL, age 69, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, September 21, 2016 at her residence in White Pine after a lengthy battle with Alzheimer’s Disease. She was a devout Christian, wife, mother and grandmother. A member of Pleasant View Baptist Church, Wanda loved attending services and singing her praises to the Lord while she was able. She especially loved spending time with her family, and she was beloved by all who came in contact with her. Wanda is preceded in death by parents, Jessie and Rose Blevins; and husband, Richard Michael. She is survived by mother-in-law, Betty Nelson; children, Rick and Michelle Michael, and Kim and Archie Tuggle; grandchildren, Jessica Michael, Hannah and Davon Sexton; great-grandson, Benjamin Sexton; sisters, Phyllis Cogdill and Peggy Swanson; as well as several nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, September 26, 2016 at Farrar Funeral Home with Rev. Donnie Cogdill officiating. Interment will follow in White Pine Cemetery.
