On Tuesday, June 12, 2018, Mary Aileen Suttles of Dandridge, went to be with the Lord. She was 74 years old, and passed away at her home surrounded by family and friends. Mary will be forever remembered by her husband of 55 years, and best friend Gerald, their daughter Lisa (Suttles) McMahan, son-in-Law Buddy McMahan and granddaughter Alivia McMahan. She was a member of Shady Grove United Methodist Church and a loving wife, mother and grandmother.
Mary was born in Kodak, Tennessee on March 15, 1944. She was the second child of Mildred (Fortenberry) Stiles and Earl “Bobby” Stiles. Mary was preceded in death by her parents, sisters Charlotte Hancock & Ruby Vermillion, father-in-law Maynard Suttles, and mother-in-law Iva Suttles. Mary is survived by her husband Gerald Suttles, daughter Lisa & Buddy McMahan, granddaughter Alivia McMahan, sister Barbara & Ronnie Chamberlain of Knoxville, brother Wayne & Pam Stiles of Kodak, sister Shelby & Carson Mills of Knoxville, brother-in-law Kenneth Suttles & wife Barb of Dandridge, brother-in-law Bob Suttles & wife Cleo of Gilbertsville, Ky, and brother-in-law Donnie Suttles & wife Donna of Dandridge. Mary will also be forever remembered by her numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and dear friends.
The family will receive friends Friday, June 15, 2018 from 4-7pm at Shady Grove United Methodist Church in Dandridge. The funeral service will immediately follow with Dr. Jason McIntosh and Rev. Garland Long officiating. Family and friends will gather at Dandridge Memorial Gardens Saturday, June 16, 2018 at 11am for a graveside interment service with Rev. Sherri Franklin officiating.
