“Pat” Frelan Lee Patrick
With broken hearts, the family of Pat Patrick, age 79 of Dandridge, passed away on December 5, 2021. He was born in Paint Creek, WV on November 21, 1942. Pat was a graduate of East Bank High School, a Navy Veteran, and a member of the police force in Daytona Beach, FL. He was a Union Organizer for several local unions, an organizer for the International Brotherhood of Teamsters and a SEIU International Representative and was loved by all who worked with him. Pat was an avid fisherman that especially loved fishing Douglas Lake and a member of Hills Union United Methodist Church where he was faithful in attendance and an essential piece in the church programs. His passion was the annual All Saints Cemetery Lighting, the annual Southern Gospel Jubilee, and the Live Christmas Nativity.
Pat is preceded in death by his parents, Frelan and May Rebecca Bobbitt Patrick, son, Donald Patrick, and grandson, Daniel Carter.
Leaving to share his precious memories, his wife of 42 blessed years of marriage (Feb. 14, 1979) “Ginger” Catherine Patrick, children, Woody Valentine (Krista), Susan Carter (Danny) and Donna Crawley, grandchildren, Brandy Scales (Dalton), Mark Wilson (Elizabeth), Jessica Starnes (Jay), Rebekah Valentine (Ruben), and Katie Carter (Micah), nine great grandchildren, sisters, Carol Burke (Herbie), and Mary Ann Nicholas, brother, Terry Patrick (Christie), sister in-laws, Nancy Lynch and Margaret Hancock (Les) brother in-law, Fred Fritz, several special cousins and numerous nieces, nephews and a host of friends.

Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, December 8, 2021 at 2:00PM at Hills Union United Methodist Church. Visitation will be at the church on Wednesday from 10AM-2PM prior to the service. Burial will follow in the Hills Union Cemetery with Pastor John Ramsey, Pastor Sherry Franklin and Rev. Bruce Adams officiating. In lieu of flowers, the family asked that donations be made to Hills Union UMC for the Nativity, 2383 Hills Chapel Road, Dandridge, TN 37725.

We're praying for the Patrick family during this difficult time. We were so honored to be a small part of the annual Southern Gospel Jubilee and enjoyed getting to know him through the years. He will be missed, but we look forward to seeing him again!
